It is my all time favorite resturant!! I remember visiting there in my youth. Did the "car wash" around the salad bar car so many times!! All special events in my early life included a trip to Molly's!! There isn't much that would make me make a trip back to Oklahoma, but reopening Molly's would do it! I absolutely would have to share it with my daughter as a memory I could pass down to her!!

I worked at Mollys in Tulsa as a cocktail waitress in 82 and LOVED it..always felt guilty for taking home so much money for having such fun! In one day I had a ice fight with Potsy from Happy Days, met Wolf Man Jack and Tom Sellecks stunt man...had soooo much fun...had trouble leaving my english accent at work sometimes! Miss it..great food..great employees...great place!!! So thankful I was a part of it!

This is the menu from when I visited. I was there after a visit to the state fair. The back side has two autographs. Johnny Bench and Groucho Marx - waiters of course, but I was young and surely impressed

My first experience with this sort of restaurant was Bobby McGee's Conglomeration in Phoenix, but Molly's servers were much more entertaining. (I think there's an Ed Debevic's in Chicago, too). I would love to see the return of Molly's. I live in Norfolk, VA now, but would make the trip in a heartbeat! :)

While a student at John Brown University in Siloam Springs, AR, My wife and I often went to Tulsa for concerts and special occasions like our anniversary. Someone told us about the Molly Murphy's in Tulsa so we took friends one night and it was without a doubt the most fun I have had at a restaurant. I laughed so hard my side ached and the Bacchus feast was incredible. Great memories which I still tell people about to this day. Wish there were a Molly Murphy's here in Nashville.

Awesome place to eat. Always had to wait in line outside for hours but they kept you refreshed.

When we lived in OKC we loved going to Molly's. So sorry to hear that it is no longer. A new one is needed.

We had a Molly Murphy's in Tulsa, although I've driven by the one in OKC way back when.
I was a kid when it was open, but I distinctly remember a very pretty waitress dressed-up like a cat. She told me to take her leash as we went to our table; I was so embarrassed. The men's bathroom had pictures of naked ladies that were clipped from Playboy's and and their, uh, parts artistically covered by wordage from magazines.
I do remember to never ask where the bathroom was unless you wanted to get on board the potty train. It was such a fun, raucous place with fantastic people and even better food. So, that was the minestrone soup I could never get enough of, eh? I hope they publish the recipe.

Is there any way to get the recipe for Molly Murphys minestrone soup? My husband still yearns for that soup!
